The short version
Nouri has no account, no email address, and no password.
We collect the answers you provide during onboarding so guidance can be written for your pregnancy instead of pregnancy in general. We never use your data for advertising, and we never sell or share it with data brokers.
On the public website, Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights collect aggregate pageview and performance data. We use that to see whether pages load well and whether people find the App Store links. We do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
What Nouri collects
Health information
- Your due date, and the gestational week and trimester derived from it.
- Allergies and dietary preferences you list.
- Conditions you tell us about, such as gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, anaemia, thyroid conditions, or cholestasis.
- Notes you enter about what your doctor or midwife has said.
- Foods you are unsure about, your stated goal, and the difficulties you select during onboarding.
Sensitive information
Pregnancy information. Your due date and gestational week describe a pregnancy, so we disclose this category explicitly.
Contact information
A first name, only if you choose to enter one when Nouri asks what to call you. This field is optional and the app works fully without it.
Identifiers
A random identifier generated on your device the first time you open Nouri. It is not your Apple Account, device ID, or advertising identifier. It exists so your answers can be found again on your next launch.
What Nouri does not collect
- No email address, phone number, or postal address.
- No precise or coarse location.
- No contacts or microphone data.
- No advertising identifier, advertising SDK, or cross-app tracking.
- Product-label photos are read on your device. Nouri does not upload or retain those images; only the text you choose to send is used to answer the food question.
How the information is used
App functionality. Your answers are stored so your profile survives between launches and your pregnancy week advances with you.
Personalization. Safety answers are written against your profile. If you list peanuts as an allergy, Nouri flags peanut butter before anything is logged. If you say you are vegetarian, suggestions remain within that preference.
We do not use this information for advertising, marketing, or tracking as Apple defines tracking. We do not build advertising profiles or share data with data brokers.
Service providers
Supabase
Supabase hosts the database that stores your onboarding answers. The database is protected by row-level security with no public access policies. Every read and write passes through a server function.
OpenRouter
OpenRouter processes the messages you type so Nouri can answer them. Your message and relevant parts of your profile are sent to the model provider to produce a reply. Conversation messages are not stored on our servers.
RevenueCat and Apple
RevenueCat and Apple handle subscriptions. We never see or receive your payment details.
Vercel
Vercel hosts the public website and provides Web Analytics and Speed Insights. These tools help us count aggregate pageviews and measure page performance without advertising cookies.
What stays on your device
Your day-to-day conversation and meal journal are stored on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers.
Retention and deletion
We keep your onboarding answers until you ask us to delete them, or until you delete the app and request deletion.
To request deletion, email aarizrasheed2345@gmail.com from the device you use Nouri on and say you want your Nouri data deleted. Because there is no account system, include the install identifier if you can. We will delete the record within 30 days.
You can stop all collection at any time by deleting the app.
Children
Nouri is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Health information disclaimer
Nouri provides general food-safety information grounded in published FDA, CDC, and ACOG pregnancy guidance. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, monitor, or treat any condition, and never replaces your doctor or midwife. Always follow your care team.
Changes
If our data practices change, we will update this page and the App Store privacy disclosures together.
